BRDS leverages advanced sensor technology to continuously monitor the rails, detecting any signs of fractures or breaks in real time. When a fault is identified, the system instantly sends alerts to the control center, enabling rapid response to prevent possible accidents. The installation of the BRDS at DMRC was an exceptionally challenging project managed by Mr. S.P. Sharma's company. Given the metro's operation schedule, the team was allotted only a five-hour nightly window when the trains were not running. Despite these constraints, Mr. Sharma’s team demonstrated extraordinary dedication and efficiency, completing this critical project in an impressively short span of time. Their ability to work effectively under such strict timelines ensured minimal disruption to daily metro services while establishing a new standard in railway safety.
